What is special about the 1to1ratio.com Banner Exchange and Button Exchange?

Why was the 1to1ratio.com Banner Exchange and Button Exchange created?
I created 1to1ratio.com because I wanted banners for my Web sites which were not sexually provocative. In addition, I noticed that there were a number of banner exchanges for Christian Web sites, but these were 2:1 ratio, not 1:1 ratio. In other words, these banner exchanges only give Web sites 1/2 of the credit they should get.
I was once a member of a 1:1 banner exchange, but it shut down. Will 1to1ratio.com shut down?
1 to 1 ratio exchanges don't make much money, and they may take a loss. That's fine, for me--I'm willing to take a loss, because I want to enrich the Internet and because I want to praise God on the Web.
I think it's important to note that many of these other banner exchanges are not dedicated: They often use free Webhosting accounts. Free Web hosts usually don't like banner exchanges, because banner exchanges have a high amount of traffic. The terms of service for these free Web hosts often contain prohibitions against banner exchanges, but this is often overlooked until the banner exchanges are forced to shut down. On the other hand, I have a Web host account which I pay for on a yearly basis, with a Web host that is very stable: Interserver.net. I'm here for the long run. I'm dedicated. I'm here to stay, this service will always be true 1:1 ratio, and this service will always be free.
What banners are acceptable?
The following categories are allowed:
- Catholic: Roman Catholic or other Catholic Web sites.
- Christian: Christian Web sites, not necessarily Catholic.
- God: Web sites related to God, not necessarily Christian.
- Children: Web sites suitable for use by children, not necessarily related to God.
- General: Web sites suitable for a general audience. Not necessarily intended for use by children, but not inappropriate for children to browse.
What are the requirements for approval?
- Banners must be: exactly 468 pixels in width and exactly 60 pixels in height, and 20K or less in total size.
- Buttons must be exactly 88 pixels in width and exactly 31 pixels in height, and 10K or less in total size.
- Banners and buttons must be suitable for viewing by children.
- The Web sites for which the banners/buttons are advertising must be suitable for viewing by children. Please choose the appropriate categories (Catholic, Christian, God, Children, or General).
- You may begin advertising immediately, but you will not receive your 100 free credits until you have shown 10 banners for others. After you have shown 10 banners for others and your listing has been verified, you will receive administrative approval and will receive your 100 extra credits (for a total of 110 credits).
